The Peasant

Usually these peasant blouse tops are SO unflattering on me.. I think I may have finally found one that works ;)

Shirts or Skins?

This summer I was available to turn a pleasant shade of bronze. I love the colour of this shirt, it's so different yet neutral, effortless and easy to pair with anything. These distressed shorts by One Teaspoon are so comfortable and quickly became a summer favorite.

The Classic Black Bag

I've been so into updating my basics for the last year (yes, it's been that long since I've posted). I've come to realize that it's worth investing in some key basics that you can wear multiple ways and that will never go out of style. This bag is definitely one of those investments for me but deep down I know I'll have this piece forever.

T- Shirt and Shorts Weather

This outfit is the epitome of what is comfortable to me; simplicity, featuring all black with gold and teal accents. In this shoot, I wanted to wear what what I would reach for first in my closet. So these are the items I would magical pull out! There is nothing better than an all neutral outfit with an obnoxious pop of colour. Other than gold, of course.

Thanks so much for reading! :)

Shades of Black

ALL BLACK ERRYTHAANNGG! It's finally creeping into dress weather which is super exciting! Yay for spring! I love how black is one of those colours where you can wear only that colour and yet still look amazing.

Thanks so much for reading! :)

California Dreamer

These are definitely the most AWKO TACO (awkward) poses I have EVER done. So please, feel free to laugh because I still do every time I see these ;) This outfit was inspired by the sun that woke me up that one beautiful morning. In hopes that spring and summer would come faster, I decided to dress as if it was already spring to the best of my capabilities, considering the cold weather. Nothing screams spring and summer to me more than a flowy skirt and a shirt that says "California dreamer". I love the burgundy colour of this skirt! To me, burgundy is a colour that can transition from season to season and still work wonderfully.

Thanks for reading :) HAPPY SPRING!

Sparkles + Glitter

So ya, not gonna lie this outfit is pretty boring. BUT please take the time to just stare at this awesome kimono blazer thing. JUST STARE AT IT! Sequins are absolutely amazing and they have the power to make a woman feel empowered when she wears something that glitzy. The sequins on this kimono- like blazer top have an ombre effect. They start off lighter at the top and near the bottom of the top they are a deep bronze colour. The sequinned blazer is definitely the focal point of this outfit.

Thanks so much for reading y'all :)

Boucle

These pictures were taken at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Vancouver.

I first laid eyes on this cardigan when some youtube fashionista hauled in from Forever 21. It was literally love at first sight. The very next day I made it to Forever 21 and bought this sucker. What I like about it is the cozy, soft and warm boucle material. I also like that it's marbled instead of just one solid colour. These heels that I'm wearing were also love at first sight. After they ran out of my size at the local Urban Outfitters, I managed to snag them on sale at the UO website. A girl can never have to many sparkly items ;)

Thanks so much for reading kids :)
